In 2008 I had 3 main goals. 

  1. Provide for my family making music.

  2. Get good on the hammered dulcimer and make it more well known.

  3. Lead a band with the hammered dulcimer.

In 2010, I won the U.S. National Hammered Dulcimer Championship and since, I've been touring, recording, composing and teaching music full time.

In 2016 I had a viral video playing Everybody Wants to Rule the World and it was seen by over 200 million people. 

In 2019 I started touring with different groups of musicians and now, at any given time, you can see me solo or with a combination of strings, percussion, electric guitar, drums and bass. 

This music is perfect for festivals, theaters, libraries, churches, and house shows! As humbly as possible I can say, Ted Yoder (and band) is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
