In order to curb arguments about whose turn it was to carry in those precious white envelopes, we set up a system last year that allows the older kids to each bring in the mail twice a week. Today being a Monday, it was Lindy's day to gather in the goods. Other than bills and weekly flyers we really don't get tons of interesting items around here. Imagine my surprise then when Lindy came in with not 1 interesting looking parcel, but THREE! Upon opening them we discovered that our first Fan Friday quilt contributions are already here! Thank you Robert, Scott and Janice, Paul and Heidi for the materials and for your kind notes! If some of the rest of you are interested in sending in something from your collection, please do! We want to see you represented in the Fan Friday quilt! Musically the project is moving forward as well. Ted sent the first song out to Gersh last Monday and spent over an hour talking with him on the phone with him. Now that I think of it, I don't think their phone conversations are ever less than an hour, they have so much fun working together! This morning as I type Ted is now holed up in his practice corner preparing to send another song out today. :) I'm gonna go put my ear to the door and see what song he's working on...ooh sounds like "The Measure" and he has found some unique twists to add to it! This CD project is so fun! Thanks for joining us.
